Terms Of Service

SHORT AND NICE

Thank you for buying art from us - we send as quickly as we can, reasonably and safely. If you have questions along the way, you will get good answers. It is safe and easy to shop with us, and we want all customers to be satisfied!

MORE ABOUT THE TERMS

Thank you for your interest in our terms! Klingvall Issues is a small business run by Thea & Nora Klingvall. Our goal is to simplify the purchase process between buyer and artist. We receive your payment and delivery information, issue a receipt and accept any returns on behalf of the artist, to make things easy for everyone.

COMMUNICATION OF ART

Klingvall Issues conveys art on behalf of the artist.
Klingvall Issues undertakes on behalf of the Artist and in the Artist's name to mediate the sale of all works of art by the Artist that the Artist completes and signs during the contract period.
The agreement is intended for purely intermediary sales, where Klingvall Issues has taken on the service of selling works of art on behalf of the artist.
All works of art are sold in the artist's own name, and are mediated by Klingvall Issues as an intermediary. Conveyance of works of art for the artist is exempt from VAT liability according to Section 3-7 (5) of the VAT Act.
For all other sales subject to VAT, including but not limited to framing, shipping, applied art, jewellery, the VAT amount is specified on the invoice in a separate field.
For you as a customer, this means that you are buying from the artist, who is then to be considered the counterparty to the contract, with Klingvall Issues as an intermediary. Any complaints about the works of art in the event of such sales are the artist's responsibility. Nevertheless, Klingvall Issues has agreed with the artist to assist him in relation to buyers, so that you only need to deal with us at Klingvall Issues.

ART FEE

According to the Act on tax on the sale of visual art, etc. of 4 November 1948 no. 1 (the Art Tax Act), buyers of works of art must pay a tax of 5%, which must be paid into the Artists' Relief Fund. The art fee is administered by the Visual Artists' Aid Fund (BKH). No art tax must be paid on the sale of works of art under NOK 2,000. The fee is in addition to the sale price and must be borne by the buyer. Klingvall Issues as a third party is responsible for informing buyers about the fee, collecting it and paying the fee to BKH. Payment information can easily be found at www.kunstavforten. no.
